51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ

Realize Your Purpose

51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ’s College of Nursing is dedicated to providing a Vincentian-based nursing education that equips individuals to deliver compassionate, socially-just care through cutting-edge instruction, research, practice, and community service.

We believe practice makes perfect, which is why 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ’s College of Nursing has practice-oriented simulations and labs to provide our students with a well-rounded, balanced education that prepares them for a career in the field.  The skill labs provide students opportunities to learn and practice their nursing skills, ranging from personal care for patients to medication administration, through clinical simulation.

Our comprehensive programs focus on preparing nurses who internalize and integrate the professional nursing paradigm of critical analysis and problem solving into their career, with an emphasis on healthcare leadership and management, communication and research utilization, community-based care and the values of respect for human dignity and ethical decision-making related to the scope of professional nursing practice.
