Join Your Community!
NU transfer students have opportunities to shine!
Joining NU as a transfer student immediately welcomes you into our Purple Eagle community. In addition, you’ll be eligible to join your fellow transfer students by joining our Transfer Student Association (TSA) which is a transfer student club on campus for transfer students to keep engaged with each other while engaging in leadership, service, and social opportunities. Transfer students with a GPA above 3.50 from their previous college/university are eligible for our NU honors program and will receive an application invite to join.
Starting this fall, students transferring into NU who are members of Phi Theta Kappa will receive a specialized merit scholarship of $24,000. To qualify for this, a student must apply and submit proof of membership. In addition to this merit scholarship, PTK members will have the opportunity to apply to an additional competitive scholarship of $3,000. An application, letter of recommendation, and short answer essays will be part of the scholarship.

Filling out an application is easy!
NU offers rolling admissions, which means that you can apply at any time for the upcoming semester. Applications are reviewed as they come in, and students are typically notified of an admission decision in 3-4 weeks. What’s stopping you?
