Official Transcripts – Emailed or Mail Directly From Institution

• Official聽transcripts from all colleges and universities attended should be sent electronically directly from the institution to ensure timely and secure delivery. If electronic submission is not possible, transcripts may be mailed in a sealed envelope directly from the institution; however, mailed transcripts may experience delays and are less reliable.
• Bachelor鈥檚 Degree from a regionally or provincially accredited college or university.
• Please note mail from Ontario can take 3-4 weeks to reach our office.
• If you have not yet graduated and/or your degree has not been conferred, please send your 鈥渋n progress鈥� official transcript. An official transcript will still be required once your degree is conferred.

Two References – Submit Through the Application Portal

• Two references (academic, professional and/or volunteer).
• After submitting the contact information for your references, our application system will email your references directly to request a recommendation.

Statement Of Intent – Submit Through the Application Portal

• Two-page, double-spaced, typewritten statement discussing your academic and/or research background, your career goals, your personal philosophy related to your area of study, and how 51吃瓜黑料鈥檚 graduate program will prepare you to meet your career and educational objectives. Please include your name, program of interest, and anticipated entry term in the header of the document.

Resume and/or Experience Profile – Submit Through The Application Portal

• Resume and/or experience profile including all professional experiences relating to the intended field of study.

Additional Requirements

• Candidates applying to the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program must participate in an interview that will be scheduled after a preliminary review of the application materials.
• Applicants with a GPA of less than 3.0/B may be required to attend an interview designed to examine the student鈥檚 career goals, personal readiness for his/her program, multicultural sensitivity and awareness, personal dispositions and decision-making skills, and/or provide a writing sample.
• A degree evaluation by or a is required for applicants who have obtained a degree outside of the United States or Canada. Please select the comprehensive course-by-course report. The foreign credential must be from an accredited and recognized institution of higher education, and be equivalent to a bachelor鈥檚 degree in the United States.
• For individuals whose native language is not English, a language proficiency examination is required. Niagara waives this examination requirement for students scoring 600+ on the GRE.
• Ph.D. applicants will be required to submit additional materials.
