The Niagara Fund is an opportunity for alumni, faculty, staff, students, parents, and friends of the university to come together to make a difference in the quality of education and services the university provides. 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ’s success depends largely on private support from friends and alumni.
51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ provides financial aid to 99 percent of incoming undergraduate students. This support plays a major role in a student’s decision to attend NU.
Scholarship funds can be endowed with a minimum gift of $50,000. These funds are invested and will award in perpetuity. Our current spending policy is approved annually by the Board of Trustees, and is calculated as 5 percent of a three-year moving average of the market value of endowment assets.Â
